here are some of my works

I CAN'T FEEL MY FACE
I did this design on Adobe Illustrator. It is a design of a girl who has a melting face which shows the emotions inside her. I wanted the audience to interpret this design themselves when they see it.

BANGKOK
I did this design when I was about to go on an overseas trip to Bangkok. The buildings and boat symbolize Bangkok, Thailand and the paper airplane symbolize that I am going to that country. I did this design on Adobe Illustrator.

EDITORIAL DESIGN
The two design above is done on the same assignment where I had to do an Editorial Design on Typography.
I chose colours as the eye-catching point in my design which explains the different colours on the content page and different colours borders for the images and text. I did this design in Adobe InDesign.

ELECTRICO MUSIC SCHOOL LOGO DESIGN
This Logo Design is done based on a Children Music School. It was for my school assignment where I had to design three Logo designs.
For my first design, I chose elements such as the music instruments as the eye-catching point in my design. I add in many different music instruments to create a background for the design and surround the Logo.
For my second design, it was a similar design as the first one. However, instead of having many of the same music instruments, I put in each of the music instrument and add as a border for the Logo.
For my last design, I design a different style where it appeals more to children because of the image used.
All three design is designed on Adobe Illustrator.

THE TYPOGRAPHY OF JAMES GARAMOND POSTER DESIGN
For one of my school assignments, I had to do 2 different style for a Design Masterclass Lecture Series. For both designs, I used colours once again to attract the audience. Other than colours, I used typography as well to catch the audience's attention. It was a rather simple design as I do not want to overload the poster with too many colours or images as two-thirds of the poster was already overloaded with typography and colours. Hence, I wanted to keep the bottom more simple. Both designs were done in Adobe Illustrator.

PIXEL ART MAGAZINE COVER PAGE
I wanted to use neon colour as the background for this Magazine Cover Page. I wanted the background to be the eye-catching element. As the design can appear to be too much, I used black for the Logo and other parts in the magazine. I also used the colours on the Image for the sentences at the bottom. I wanted to design something that is different as this is for a Design Magazine. This design is risky as it can appear to be overloaded with colours. However, I still wanted to give it a try as I wanted it to be something different and unusual. This design is done on Adobe Illustrator.

here are some of the websites I have created

MILK Website
For this assignment, I had to create a Non-profit organisation website.
I used Adobe Muse to create this site from scratch. I planned the entire layout and
created a documentation for it as well.
This website is to let the audience know more about the organisation and help the children in need.

DRAKE FAN PAGE
This website is created using Brackets where coding is done.
The purpose of this website is to create a fan page for an artist. I chose Drake, a hip-hop artist.
It was not really created from scratch as there were a template given from my school and I edited the coding from the given template and CSS styling code. I chose contrasting colours such as Blue and Yellow as the main colours. In this website, it includes Information, Photo, News and Contact column.

HELP JOSEPH, TAMPINESIAN
This website is done by me for one of my assignment on Transmedia.
I am the person behind this blog but this blog is about about a guy named Joseph who
recently just moved to Tampines with his family. In this website, "Joseph" will post about anything related to Tampines such as the food and places. This website is part of a Transmedia Campaign on neighborhood with involves Location-based Mobile Application.

PIXEL ART MAGAZINE SITE
The three works above is not a real website. It was a mock up created using Illustrator.
The assignment was for a magazine company and I had to design three different design style for the magazine site.
For my first design, I wanted to create something more colourful and has more visuals to it.
For my second design, I wanted to keep it simple with pop of colours. Hence, the different contrasting colours in the design such as Mint Green, Blue-Purple and Pink.
For my third design, I keep it simple with monochrome colour and a hint of pink. The banner at the left side is what attracts the audience with the font.

Category: Portrait
Location: Republic Polytechnic, Singapore

I took this photographs and edited them on Adobe Lightroom.
It was for one of my Photography Module assignment on Portrait. I make use of the Lighting Pattern such as Loop Lighting and Broad Lighting. During this assignment, I also used three point lighting to create such Lighting Pattern.

Category: People
Location: Art Science Museum, SIngapore

I took this few photographs and edited them on Adobe Lightroom.
I played with the lights in Art Science Museum with subject as the focus. In the first picture, I make use of the bright lights on the background and I changed the camera settings so the subject would appear as silhouette.

For the second and third picture, I wanted to focus more on the subject. Hence, I changed the aperture to lower in order to blur the surrounding and only focus on the subject.

Category: People & Nature
Location: Sri Lanka

I went on an overseas school trip to Sri Lanka during my year 2 in Republic Polytechnic
and took this few photographs.

The first photograph was taken in one of Sri Lanka, Sigiriya Village School and it was a student in that school. She was playing with the slide and I happened to have the chance to take a photograph of her when she slide down. The way she looks straight in the camera creates a mysterious feel to the photo.

The second and third photograph was taken on one of the streets in Sri Lanka.
For the second photo, I used the rectangular from the shop to create a composition. However, I should have changed my camera setting so the focus will be on the subject instead of focusing on the entire photo.
For the third photograph, I also used the metal poles to create a frame for the subject.

The forth, fifth and sixth photograph was taken in Sigiriya Rock which is one of Sri Lanka's landmarks.
The forth photo was a Sunset. I changed the camera setting so the foreground would remain as Silhouette and the sun setting would be the focus.
The fifth photo was the Sigiriya Rock itself. I placed it on the rules of third as I wanted the Sigiriya Rock to be the main focus and nothing else.
The last photo was a silhouette of different people on the rock. Some were posing for a photo, some were just standing there while others were admiring the beauty of this country. I wanted to show the different things people do on the rock.

BOATS
It was a school assignment where we had to film a short film on a poetry and we chose Boats. It was about a boy who lost his mom where he looks at the photographs of his Mother, like what the poetry was written.
This video was shot and edited by team mates and I. I was the producer for this video where I took part in the Pre-Production Documentation and Production.

HELLO, SOUTH KOREA
I shoot and edited this entire video when I went on a holiday to Korea with a friend.
The content and the way it was shot was not like the other videos that I did for my school assignments, it was more of a video blog and visuals video. As such videos are getting popular, I wanted to document my entire trip through the skills I have learnt in school. I wanted this video to be something different from the videos I did for my school assignments but apply the skills I have learnt in school such as taking from different angles and editing it.

OUR CLIMATE, OUR CHANGE
This video was shot and edited by my team mates and I. Adobe After Effects to create a different kind of Credits. The project was related to Global warming and how it affects the world and us. The video was submitted to a  competition as well. I was the editor for this video and through this video, I used Adobe Premiere Pro to edit the video and Adobe After Effects for the credits portion. It was my first time using

SRI LANKA 2015
This video was shot and edited by my team mates and I where we went to Sri Lanka for a school trip.
It was based on one of Sri Lanka's landmark, the Sigiriya Rock also known as the Lion Rock. We also shot videos of the people in the village and some of the places that we went.
My team and I planned the shot list and film it and I was the editor for this video. I used Adobe Premiere Pro to edit this video.
